The free BreckConnect Gondola to Breckenridge Ski Resort will begin operating for summer mountain operations on Friday, June 18, as Epic Discovery returns to the resort.

This weekend, the resort’s summer mountain adventures will kick off at Peak 8 Base Camp with Alpine Slide, Gold Runner Coaster, Mini Golf, Bungee Trampolines, Gem Panning, the Lil ‘Flyer Zipline, the Lil’ Climber Ropes Course and the Lil ‘Nugget Tube.

Vail Resorts spokeswoman Sara Lococo said in a press release that more activities are expected to open before the July 4 bank holiday weekend. This includes scenic walks and bike rides on the Colorado SuperChair and activities at Alpine Camp, such as the Gold Summit Climbing Wall and the Alpineer Challenge Course.

Due to the construction of the new chairlift on Peak 7, Lococo has said the zipline expedition will not be available this summer.

The resort’s Epic Discovery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Labor Day. The resort will also open for an additional weekend of activities from September 10 to 12.
