Location: 839 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. Requires county travel.

Salary: $22.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Nature of the work: Responsible for supervising Critical Care Coordinators who work in a non-clinical capacity to support people with complex substance use disorder (SUD) needs in a range of areas of their lives (eg. , medicine, mental health, family, employment, criminal justice, housing, finance) that disrupt or create barriers to the success of the recovery process. In addition, will perform a reduced workload. Requires a valid Maryland driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • provide training, supervision and support to critical care coordinators
  • support the team in developing skills to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • promote positive interactions with individuals and foster positive working relationships with suppliers and organizations
  • monitor services and ensure staff follow program policies and procedures
  • monitor and assign program credentials
  • facilitate care planning team meetings, coordination and care planning of multiple services/supports
  • monitoring and collection of required data and preparation of required reports

Minimum qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services


  • Two years of supervisory experience in the human services field providing supervision of services and staff
  • Must be able to maintain accurate and timely notes, data and monthly reports

Desired or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of Anne Arundel County resources
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Licence: Current Maryland driver’s license
