Marriott to rebrand Green Community Dubai property under Delta brand


Delta Hotels by Marriott, Green Community Dubai will open its doors to its first guests in Q4 2022. This follows Marriott’s decision to rebrand one of its existing properties into what will now become Delta’s second hotel in the UAE .

When it opens, Delta Hotels by Marriott, Green Community Dubai will offer 248 rooms, divided into five room types, including Executive Suites and Junior Suites, 26 m² of meeting and event space, including The Hall, intended for to large business meetings and corporate events.

Recreational facilities at the property include an outdoor swimming pool and pool bar, a new spa and fitness center.

The hotel will offer culinary concepts, including the Masian restaurant which will serve international cuisine and shisha. Connected to the Maisan restaurant, the Hub Delta Bar will serve a menu available in the evening, as well as craft beers and cocktails.

The Delta Pantry, located on the first floor, will offer grab-and-go continental breakfasts, snacks and beverages throughout the day, and will be complimentary for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Elite members.

The hotel will be located close to Jebal Ali Port, Al Maktoum International Airport and within the Dubai Investment Park.

Raja Zeidan will be the multi-property general manager of Delta Hotels by Marriott Green Community Dubai, with additional responsibility for The St. Regis Downtown Dubai.

Marriott to rebrand 23 UK regional properties under Delta brand

In related developments, Marriott International recently confirmed plans to rebrand more than 20 of its UK regional Marriott hotels under the Delta by Marriott brand. Among those set to change flags are Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel, Liverpool Marriott Hotel City Centre, Edinburgh Marriott Hotel and Heathrow/Windsor Marriott Hotel.
