Jordan Jones urged Rangers fans to “enjoy every minute” of their Scottish title victory.
The 26-year-old is under contract with the Glasgow squad, but is currently on a six-month loan with Sunderland in League One, where he helps help the club secure promotion to the league.
That included a great performance against Rochdale this weekend, with Jones securing an assist for Charlie Wyke’s goal in the 2-0 win.
Jones clearly has a close connection to the Scottish giants and is delighted with the way they prevented their rivals Celtic from winning a 10th consecutive all-time league title.
Scottish football’s return to the top has been a long one and on Instagram Jones was keen to celebrate a great weekend for Sunderland and Rangers.
Speaking to Instagram, Jones said: “Great day by any means.
“Three points for Sunderland and for all those connected with Rangers FC, a very special day after a long wait of 10 years.
“Take advantage of every minute, we are the people. “
Jordan Jones is having a good time right now.
With his parent club winning the Scottish title, he now hopes to help loaner club Sunderland secure promotion to the championship before the end of the season.
It remains to be seen where he plays his football next season, but it’s great to see him enjoy the success after a difficult period in his career.
